Feeling like mixing up from your straight up porridge whilst keeping it blood-sugar balancing, gut-healthy and so delicious you'll be JUMPING out of bed for it?
This chocolate probiotic porridge has all of that! (It's also high in protein but I thought that might be one too many P's for one title)...
Ingredients (serves 1):
35g oats
180ml oat milk (I used Plenish)
2 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp ground flax seeds
1 tsp raw cacao powder
25g chocolate protein powder (I used Pulsin)
2 tbsp coconut yoghurt (I used Cocos)
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tsp cacao nibs
Method:
1. Combine all ingredients (except the yoghurt, cacao nibs and pumpkin seeds) in a saucepan over a medium heat. Keeping it low and slow, simmer and stir for 8 minutes until thick and creamy.
2. Remove from heat, serve into a bowl and add the yoghurt, pumpkin seeds and cacao nibs.
3. Enjoy!
